The Dog Days

Those lazy summer August days are notorious for work slow downs and end-of-summer vacations. As the work less, earn more guy, I’m of course a big fan of squeezing in as much vacation time as possible.

However, I also believe slow downs at work are a great time to reevaluate priorities, clean out your office, and get yourself ready for a fall business push. I’ve spent the last couple of weeks rechecking my 2009 goals and making changes as necessary. I’ve also cleaned out old boxes stacking up in the office to make my work space efficient again.

So use this downtime to rest and relax but also be sure to take advantage of some time to get ready to hit the ground running after labor day.
