Sometimes thinking big feels overwhelming. Sometimes those grand goals scare you when they involve so many steps and so many unknowns. I’ve become a big fan of the monthly hit list to combat the big goal anxieties.
Basically, I break a big goal down into smaller goals that I’ll accomplish over time. Then in each month I focus solely on the goals for that month. I don’t worry about the big picture, I don’t worry about what’s coming next month. I already know my master plan will take care of itself if I just focus on the small stuff.
Give it a try next time you feel overwhelmed by a big goal. You just may find all of your little accomplishments add up to one big achievement.
